I enjoy supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, suicidality, substance abuse, attachment trauma, and self-harm. I am passionate about supporting people of all ages to heal from difficult or traumatic past experiences as well as support clients navigating life’s unpredictable challenges.
I operate from an emotion focused perspective while utilizing mindfulness and CBT to illuminate and correct irrational thoughts while empowering clients in leading a meaningful life. I’m passionate about utilizing creative expression with art to tell out life stories, process emotions, and work though life’s challenges in a unique way. I use a solution-focused and strength-based framework to help clients identify values, live in accordance to their values, and correct maladaptive coping skills. The client/counselor relationship is an important collaborative part of treatment, seeking to utilize the interpersonal dynamics to promote insight and overall growth.
I have specialization in Art Therapy as well as chemical dependence. Using art as a platform for talk therapy in adjunct with CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based practices is where my ability to provide effective therapeutic connection thrives. I am LGBTQ affirming and support those with neurodivergence, as well as have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for individuals with a trauma focus.
My mission is to learn more about your lived experience and your strengths to help you continue to overcome life’s obstacles and reach your goals. It is my goal to create a therapeutic, collaborative relationship to create a unique and individual treatment plan to meet your needs.
