By reflecting in a supportive group setting, you realize your "inner critics" and anxieties are common experiences, reducing the isolation that often keeps us stuck in our own heads.
Body image isn't just about how we look, it's about how we feel, how we move through the world, and the story we tell ourselves every day. What if instead of fighting your body, you learned to befriend it?
Quiet the Inner Critic: Recognize and gently challenge the harsh internal voice that fuels shame and self-doubt, replacing it with something kinder.
See Through Diet Culture: Understand how media and social standards shape body dissatisfaction — and learn to push back against unrealistic ideals.
Build Self-Compassion: Explore the three pillars of self-compassion — self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness — and make them your own.
Move Toward Body Acceptance: Shift from self-criticism and shame toward a relationship with your body grounded in gratitude, forgiveness, and peace.

Our 10-week Body Image and Self-Compassion Group combines expert-led psychoeducation, meaningful activities, and supportive group discussion to help you build a lasting, compassionate relationship with yourself:
Expert-Led Psychoeducation: Facilitator Melissa Knott provides structured teaching rooted in CBT, Mindfulness, and Mindful Self-Compassion so you leave every session with real insight and practical tools.
A Safe, Closed Community: This is a closed group — the same people, the same space, every week. Trust and confidentiality are foundational to everything we do here.
Guided Activities & Reflection: From journaling and body image timelines to letter-writing and self-care planning, each session includes meaningful activities you can carry forward long after the group ends.
Real Tools for the Long Term: By week 10, you'll leave with a personalized relapse prevention plan and the self-compassion skills to navigate body image challenges for years to come.
Each session builds on the last — a thoughtfully sequenced path from understanding to healing to lasting change.
Week 1 – Introduction, Group Norms & Goal Setting: Establish trust, discuss confidentiality, and create a safe, non-judgmental space for the weeks ahead.
