She works with individuals aged 18 and older, as well as couples, providing a collaborative and empathetic approach. Lindsey's practice is entirely virtual, meaning all sessions are conducted securely online using a HIPAA-compliant video platform. This allows her to serve clients conveniently across the entire state of Washington, right from the comfort of their home. A key differentiator for Lindsey is her unique professional background. Before becoming a therapist, she held roles in the tech industry, including at Microsoft and Apple, and founded a tech startup. This previous experience in high-pressure environments gives her a firsthand understanding of the stresses many adults face, informing her empathetic approach to mental, physical, and relational well-being. She truly aims to see you as you are and help you achieve your goals. Financially, Lindsey Ferris accepts most major insurance plans and also Medicare. It's important to note that insurance benefits are verified before scheduling your first session. This ensures you're matched with a clinician who accepts your specific insurance. If you're ready to explore support for anxiety, relationship issues, or other life challenges, Lindsey Ferris provides a accessible and experienced option for adults and couples in Washington State.

About Lindsey
I'm Lindsey Ferris, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and the founder of Talk Heal Thrive. I'm not currently accepting new clients. My focus is leading the practice, supporting our clinical team, and providing clinical supervision to associates, clinical interns, and clinicians growing their careers here.
My path to this work started with a lifelong curiosity about the many different ways people experience life. Therapy is a second career for me. Before becoming a therapist, I owned a business in the tech industry managing event production and project management for Fortune 500 companies, and I founded a technology startup that built applications for Windows Phone, iPhone, and Android. I also spent time at Microsoft and Apple. Those high-pressure years showed me firsthand how much effective therapy can transform a person's mental, physical, and relational well-being, and in mid-life I decided to pursue that work directly. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Western Washington University and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.
As a supervisor, I bring the same collaborative, empathic, and validating approach I built my clinical work around. I want to see supervisees as they actually are and support them in becoming the clinicians they aspire to be. Supervision with me tends to focus on building clinical confidence, integrating somatic awareness into the work, navigating complex cases (especially around shame, self-criticism, and neurodiverse couples), and developing a sustainable clinical identity. I'm particularly drawn to working with clinicians who want supervision that's honest, collaborative, and respectful of their full humanity, not just their caseload.
As the practice owner, I'm also responsible for the overall direction of THT, supporting our team of 35+ clinicians across Washington (and our Colorado expansion, Rocky Mountain Thrive) and making sure this is a place where both clinicians and clients are genuinely supported. My background as a business owner and founder shapes how I think about practice operations. A well-run practice is one of the most important things a clinician can have behind them.
My clinical foundation is somatic-focused, exploring the connection between thoughts and bodily responses, and grounded in the belief that change begins with small steps and self-awareness. I bring that lens to supervision as much as I did to direct client work, particularly with clinicians supporting individuals navigating shame and self-criticism, neurodiverse relationships, and complex life transitions.
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and currently live in North Seattle with my identical twin daughters. Outside of work, I'm an enthusiastic DIYer and artist, and I love being outside, especially backpacking, mountain biking, and paddle boarding.
