About Alicia

My path to becoming a therapist was not a straight one. I have spent much of my career working with people and have always been interested in what shapes who we are and how we relate to one another. Over the years, being exposed to people from different backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences made that curiosity even stronger. My own experience with therapy also changed the way I viewed the process and helped me recognize how meaningful it can be to have a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and see things differently. Eventually, I realized that becoming a therapist brought together many of the things that have mattered to me throughout my life: connection, understanding people, and being of service to others.

Clients can expect me to be warm, genuine, curious, and easy to talk to. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up as you are, even when you are unsure of what to say or where to begin. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you explore patterns in your life and relationships that may be difficult to recognize when you are in the middle of them. I value working collaboratively and taking the time to understand what matters most to you. Together, we can make sense of what you are experiencing and explore changes that feel meaningful and realistic for your life.

I am interested in working with teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families who are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, changing family roles, communication difficulties, or feeling stuck in patterns they want to better understand. I am also particularly interested in supporting women through major life transitions, including pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and the changes in identity and relationships that can come with those experiences. I enjoy working with clients who are curious about themselves and open to exploring how their relationships, family experiences, culture, and past may be influencing what is happening in their lives today.

Outside of my work and studies, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and putting together miniature kits. I have come to really appreciate the simple things too, especially a slow morning when I can enjoy one.
