About Courtney

My desire to go into therapy started when I realized just how important it is to address mental health when helping individuals as a whole. Social work has always been a passion of mine, where my journey has always focused on the larger impacts of mental health and how they affect underserved communities.

My experience in anti-violence work with survivors of domestic violence allows me to fully see the larger picture of how trauma can affect all aspects, and how to begin a path to heal that. I believe there is space to connect clinical work with holistic modalities to support someone fully, with consideration to all parts of their identity.

Therapy should be a space for you to be completely free of judgment and I believe in the power of a connected, compassionate and trauma-informed therapeutic relationship. Healing happens when we create a safe space for you to explore your pain, honor your unique story, and reclaim a sense of empowerment and balance. As a social worker, I prefer to work with individuals of all ages and couples.

I enjoy reading fiction and nonfiction books and spending quality time with my family, two cats and German Shepherd. We love to hike and try new and unique cuisines and food. I enjoy drinking coffee, longs walks in pretty places here in the Pacific Northwest and connecting socially with friends and peers in the field. My amiable nature makes me someone who enjoys conversation, and spending time with people is where I feel best.
