About Stephanie

Some of the reasons that brought me to be a therapist include participating in the journey of others, making a difference in their lives and in society; guiding others who have struggled with painful issues that come with being human; being around people who are growing and changing; and participating in a culture that values growth and well-being.

My therapeutic approach is based on person-centered therapy, which operates on the belief that the client is inherently driven toward and has the capacity for growth and self-actualization.

I am drawn toward working with people who are ready to work on themselves, to better their lives and circumstances, and to really dig deep into the patterns they have cultivated. I also enjoy working with people who are currently in a tough life transition and need some guidance or someone to just listen to their fears. I have extensive experience working with victims of trauma, attachment issues, identity questions or conflicts, substance abuse, and life transitions.

My passion is living as authentically and genuinely as possible. I love people, meeting new people and hearing their stories. I love to travel and experience new cultures and their food :) I am very spiritual and have a strong belief in our universal resonance with each other and all life. I like to meditate, do yoga, and study astrology as hobbies. I love spending time with my husband. More than anything, I love to laugh. Life is too short not to be happy and do what brings joy to the soul.
