About Yeji

I have been drawn to psychology since I was old enough to recognize human suffering. I learned from a young age that to live is to experience pain at some point. I pursued a career as a therapist because I have hope in each person's strength, resilience, and ability to create change in their lives. Having sat in the client's seat on my own therapeutic journey, I understand the courage it takes to be vulnerable and to face our suffering. I believe in the transformative power of offering clients deep acceptance and nonjudgment as they face their past, their wounds, their patterns, and the parts of themselves that they struggle to love. I view myself as a fellow traveler, walking alongside you on your journey of discovery and healing.

In our sessions, I provide a compassionate, curious, and collaborative space to process whatever brings you through the door. Maybe you are going through a major life transition and feeling overwhelmed. Perhaps you’ve felt trapped in the same patterns for a long time and feel ready for something new. Maybe anxiety, low mood, or emotional dysregulation are holding you back from living the life you desire. Whatever it is that brings you to therapy, I aim to offer a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported.

My work integrates tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic practices to help you build practical coping skills, manage distress, and cultivate self-compassion.

I am particularly passionate about working with young adult women navigating emotional dysregulation, relationship dynamics, people-pleasing tendencies, and low self-esteem.

My practice is trauma-informed and sex-worker affirming. No matter your religious, spiritual, or political beliefs, I will respect your autonomy, honor your values, and offer a genuinely welcoming space.

In my free time, I recharge by reading romantasy, wandering through the forest, and catching up with loved ones over tea. Dancing is a lifelong love of mine and I've been known to jump into a dance circle with a solid running man.
