About Cass

Becoming a therapist has been a dream of mine for quite some time. After enduring my own struggles as a teenager and young adult, I wanted to give back to others in the same way mental health care providers supported me during challenging periods of my life. In addition, I have experience working in residential and partial hospitalization levels of care specifically for folks who live with anxiety, depression, and post traumatic stress. Working in these settings and witnessing many lives being transformed has reinforced my passion for this career.

As a therapist I believe that the clients I serve are the experts in their own story. Within all humans, there is a desire to feel seen, heard, and validated. My role as the therapist is to walk alongside you while we navigate thoughts, feelings, and experiences that can be challenging to endure or share. The therapist and client relationship is of the utmost importance to me and will serve as a foundation for the work we do together. I strive for a therapeutic space that is non-judgemental and trauma informed to promote healing and/or work towards your goals.

I have a passion for working with teens, young adults, and folks who identify as LGBTQIA+. As a queer and trans person myself, I understand the importance of representation in the therapy space. Anxiety, life transitions, self esteem, identity, and trauma are all areas of focus that I feel called to work with.

I have a big passion for music. Whether that's playing guitar, adding to my vinyl collection, going to concerts, or discovering new tunes, music brings me lots of joy in many forms. Growing up in the PNW has made me deeply appreciate nature, and especially being by the water. I am also a huge animal lover!
